Topside Umbilical Termination Units

Tranberg has manufactured junction boxes for hazardous areas for the offshore installations in the North Sea since the beginning of the Norwegian oil-history. Until the beginning of 1990 the junction boxes were produced in cast brass solutions. Since then we have produced the junction boxes in thin plate material, AISI316, to meet the market for lighter weight and increased quality demands. Our solutions are developed together with customers to meet the demands for flexibility and best solutions.

Tranberg has delivered medium and high voltage connection systems to hazardous areas for several large projects and has specialized knowledge for topside connection for subsea umbilical cables, including high voltage, signal and fiber optical cables.
